Shit motherfuckas...I feel great like Tony the Tiger today...

I went to bed at $7:30pm yesterday while trying to watch "Pineapple Express"...I can never make it through that damn movie for some reason. Of course I pulled a Michael Jacks0n and popped a bunch of sleeping pills(Thank the lawd I didn't have a Dr. Doom around to make sure I didn't wake up). Anyways, I hit the gym this morning, and I had a amazing breakfast, so I feel the best I've had in weeks.

Moral of the story, even though the last few weeks have been bullshit, a good workout and breakfast always makes the day great.

Try it sometimes bitches.

Taz Jonez presents, Gym Rules: The sexy and the unsexy...

Okay, I shouldn't have to do this but because of a certain experience I witnessed this morning at the gym, its apparent I have to.

It appears some grown folks have no clue what is and isn't sexy in gym culture, so as the saint I am, I will make it clear.

WHATS SEXY:

Shower shoes. You don't know what people got going on with their feet. Bunions? Fungus? Aw hell naw, if you don't want to be using "fast acting tinactin", have shower shoes, flip flops, something.

WHATS SEXY:

Coming to the gym to workout, relieve stress, meet people, spend time with friends, family, etc.

WHATS NOT SEXY:

You being a grown ass man and coming to the gym to stand around outside the yoga classes and watch the ladies do their bends and poses, or the aerobics classes to watch the ladies with their asses and titties giggling while getting an erection in your tight 1980s gym shorts. Get a life you perv. Thats why they sell porn. And the ladies are no better, particularly the fat ugly ones, standing around watching the men flex and sweat when they lift weights. How about you get on the treadmill instead miss, and maybe they would want you.

WHATS SEXY:

Going to the shower area/locker room, washing your stanking asses, maybe steaming a little cause its great for the skin, and then taking your black ass home.

WHATS NOT SEXY:

Shower trolls!!!! You know, gay guys and gals that come to the gym, never look at a weight or nothing, and go straight up to the locker room/shower area and begin spying on people. They want to look at your balls or titties, follow you around the locker room from the shower to the steam room to your personal locker. These folks are usually there from sun up to sun down lurking, scheming and watching. You know who I am talking about, and if you fit this discription, kill yourself. Some get a little more bold and wink a little. Get a life you fuckers, and the older they get, the worst they get. They figure, "He can't hit me cause I am so old, brittle and ancient, so I can look all I want...Hell, I might even give him a compliment. You have great buns..." Oh hell no, beat that old bitch's ass. Thats violation of your rights!!

TAZ REFLECTS: Thanks the lawd, rapper the Game is retiring!!!

As Uncle Rukus would say, "praise White Jesus".

LMAO

The only thing worst then the Game's albums were his tattoos which are offensive to people with good tattoos on an international scale.

I just wish there were a way these rappers could sign contracts, or better yet, blood oaths when they make these proclamations. They get you all excited about not hearing from them again only to have them drop another single within 3 months.

TAZ REFLECTS: If its lawful for men to go shirtless, should it be for women as well?

So I was coming out of the gym today, and I noticed a herd of plus sized chicks, looking all big, horny and hungry, standing across the street making cat calls to all the guys leaving the gym shirtless, and my mind started working.

Why is it okay for these men to be walking around with their man tits all out, getting these broads all hot and bothered, but if a woman does it she is thrown in jail for indecent exposure? Just like the herd of big girls sexualized and got aroused by these shirtless men and their muscle pecs, should we guys be able to do the same thing with shirtless chicks and their titties in public?

Why is it that if a chick comes out the house shirtless she has "gone wild" but when a guy does it he is being a guy?

Have we learned nothing from Hilary's struggle?

Women are turned on by man tits just as much as men are turned on by chick tits, and if shirtless is cool for the goose it should be cool for the gander as well.

I'm so drunk that when I piss I smell vodka...LMAO

And when I talk I smell vodka.

And when I move I smell vodka.

And everybody around me smells vodka.

And the worst part is I'm at work.

Some fat bitch was playing ono and she looks over at me and says, "You smell like vodka", and I says, "and you playing ono on a federal government salary, so shut the fuck up." She did. Drunk at work is the new cool.

Just a thought

Drama: At the Penguin Club/"Messy of the Week"

Notice I added the slash in the title in honor of the Penguin Club's multi talented employees.
LMAO

Any hoo. Here's what happened last nite.

First of all I'd like to say the owner is off the hook.

This dude is crazy.

First he begged us to let him drum for our set, and I'm like "I don't know you. Hell no"...

Then the amp breaks and he has to borrow it from a band that was playing...

Then a couple of rappers get on stage. Not that they weren't good, but every word coming from their mouth was "nigga this" and "nigga that" and "I shot that nigga...I fucked that bitch." This was a mostly white establishment, and they looked shocked that people wasn't necessarily feeling them. And fellow emcees, lets at least take out the lead vocals in the tracks when we are performing, especially on the same ticket as bands that are playing everything live. You lip sync/rapping along with your completed song isn't that sexy to the crowd that is used to live music. Needless to say, half the crowd hauled ass.

Then the bartender/violinist, and that guy with the guitar and the owner's sister get on stage and chase the other half of the crowd away singing a long ass thousand hour set. It wasn't that they weren't good, but you know after around hour nine hundred, it was time to move on.

Then the band demands the amp so that they can leave and Mister Owner wants to argue with them.

Then he looks at us like we were going to perform with a broke ass amp. Hell no. We are out.

Everybody that works there is a slash person. Bartender/violin lady. Cook/guitarist, etc. and at any moment they are ready to pounce on stage and live out their rock and roll dreams at the expense of your set.

Another thing, the owner figured it would be sexy to do an impromptu comedy skit between acts. He thought wrong. They wasn't even short skits. They was like 10 minutes of drawn out blah blah blah.

Crazy...but certainly entertaining.

I can't wait for next week.

I don't know who wrote this poem, but its definately true...

When I was in college, I was around a supportive team. I basically was one of the leaders of a group of positive, supportive people. Somewhere after college I began to deal with demons of my past, and I lost that part of me, and then I died, and now I am reborn. In the death stage, my cast was miserable and so was I, and I started bringing others in with me, and turning others off based on my negative aura.

Now I feel like I have been reborn, and am that person I remember in college or at least on my way to be. Once I do complete the journey of self discovery I will be unstoppable, and I can't wait.

Enjoy the poem,

TAZ

If you want to be miserable, then get yourself around other people who are miserable.

If you wish to be joyful, successful and fulfilled, put yourself around those who live with positive purpose.

The more energy you put into complaining about how bad things are, the more things you'll have to complain about.

The more intensely you visualize how good things can be, the better they will become.

You are naturally drawn to whatever you focus upon.

You will see precisely the opportunities and possibilities that you prepare yourself to see.

Each day is filled with so many choices and directions that you cannot possibly connect to them all.

The ones you do connect with are the ones that most closely resonate with your view of life. Fortunately, you can choose to view life in whatever way you wish.

Those who find the best in life are those who continually remind themselves that all the good and valuable things are most certainly there.

See your life as a grand opportunity for love and joy, achievement and fulfillment.

And that's exactly what it will be.

Always remember that- "Character is not made in a crisis—it is only exhibited."

"Chain Email Drama" with John McCain

Maybe its real, maybe its not, but either way John McCain looks like a prime candidate for the asshole of the year award.

Do me a favor, read through this and if you don't like what you see, click onto the sexy link at the bottom of this posting and join the cause because do we really want another 4 years of republican drama? I sure as hell don't.

TAZ

---------------------------

10 things you should know about John McCain (but probably don't):

1. John McCain voted against establishing a national holiday in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Now he says his position has "evolved," yet he's continued to oppose key civil rights laws.

2. According to Bloomberg News, McCain is more hawkish than Bush on Iraq, Russia and China. Conservative columnist Pat Buchanan says McCain "will make Cheney look like Gandhi."

3. His reputation is built on his opposition to torture, but McCain voted against a bill to ban waterboarding, and then applauded President Bush for vetoing that ban.

4. McCain opposes a woman's right to choose. He said, "I do not support Roe versus Wade. It should be overturned."

5. The Children's Defense Fund rated McCain as the worst senator in Congress for children. He voted against the children's health care bill last year, then defended Bush's veto of the bill.5

6. He's one of the richest people in a Senate filled with millionaires. The Associated Press reports he and his wife own at least eight homes! Yet McCain says the solution to the housing crisis is for people facing foreclosure to get a "second job" and skip their vacations.

7. Many of McCain's fellow Republican senators say he's too reckless to be commander in chief. One Republican senator said: "The thought of his being president sends a cold chill down my spine. He's erratic. He's hotheaded. He loses his temper and he worries me."

8. McCain talks a lot about taking on special interests, but his campaign manager and top advisers are actually lobbyists. The government watchdog group Public Citizen says McCain has 59 lobbyists raising money for his campaign, more than any of the other presidential candidates.

9. McCain has sought closer ties to the extreme religious right in recent years. The pastor McCain calls his "spiritual guide," Rod Parsley, believes America's founding mission is to destroy Islam, which he calls a "false religion." McCain sought the political support of right-wing preacher John Hagee, who believes Hurricane Katrina was God's punishment for gay rights and called the Catholic Church "the Antichrist" and a "false cult."

10. He positions himself as pro-environment, but he scored a 0—yes, zero—from the League of Conservation Voters last year.

John McCain is not who the Washington press corps make him out to be. Please help get the word out—forward this email to your personal network. And if you want us to keep you posted on MoveOn's work to get the truth out about John McCain, sign up here:

"What You Seek is Now"

What you seek is now

End the battle within yourself and you will know peace. Cease to separate one thing from another and you experience unity.

Enlightenment is not the accumulation of knowledge or wisdom. It is the full realization of what you already are.

Richness has nothing to do with material artifacts or financial transactions. It is the surrender to an abundance that has no limit.

What you seek is not somewhere else, or this or that. What you seek is now.

The more you look for it, the more it hides from you. Relax, remember the source of your deepest yearnings, and allow yourself to know their fulfillment.

Something I found on dealing with the lost of a friend. If you are going through this, hopefully it helps you!!

http://christianwomentoday.com/womenmen/friendsfail.html

Some friends grow apart because their lives become filled with other interests or move apart. The most painful broken relationship is the one that separates as a result of unresolved conflict.

Whatever the reason, friendships come and go in our lives. When the special friendships you thought would last a lifetime are broken or lost, the wounds may require loving care in order to heal.

1. Grieve for the lost friendship. Grieving a lost relationship may take weeks, months or even years. A lot depends on how the friendship ends.

Admit the relationship has ended. Acceptance is the all-important positive side to rebuilding. You do not have to take on a load of guilt in order to accept that the relationship is over. Stay out of the "if only" game. The pain is intense as you realize the relationship has ended.
Suffer and grow. The way past the pain is to go all the way through it. The pain you are feeling is real. It hurts. Allow yourself to feel the pain. Use it as motivation to grow and make the crisis into an opportunity. The pain can be an excuse to remain bitter, angry, unhappy, or it can help you grow.

2. Avoid unhealthy coping mechanisms. As you go through this painful process, check yourself so as to avoid these unhealthy coping mechanisms.

Withdrawing -- Sometimes hurting people hide so others will not suspect their fear.
Becoming a busy-aholic -- Hiding behind busyness may delay the healing process and can also be very tiring.
Fearing aloneness -- Being alone can provide time for introspection, reflection, growth and development of the inner self. Emptiness can be replaced by inner fullness and strength. There is a healthy balance in spending time with others and being alone.

3. Let go

Close friendships require an interest in other people, empathy, loyalty and commitment. They also require the letting go of idealistic expectations and unrealistic demands. In letting go, we grow. Sometimes this may even require letting go of the friendship entirely.

Forgive. Forgiveness is an act of the will on the part of the offended person releasing the perpetrator even though you do not condone what they have done. Trust, however, needs to be earned. This is particularly important in dysfunctional relationships. If you are seeking inner freedom, forgiveness is not an option -- you simply must. Forgiveness involves realizing how much the Lord has forgiven. It enables you to forgive and see others' failures through the eyes of mercy. Good friends are good forgivers.

Deal with your emotions. Acknowledge the feelings of love, anger, bitterness, feelings of vindictiveness and look at them realistically. Invest emotionally in your own personal growth instead of investing in the dead relationship.

4. Risk loving again. Intimacy is risky, no doubt about it. Reaching out may result in rejection. Then why do it and get hurt? Why not play it safe? The cost is too high to not ever take the risk -- there are friends in your future who will be worth the risk and you may never know them if you don't try again.

Make yourself vulnerable. It is easy to fear rejection. If someone wants to share, but seems hesitant, lead the way by opening up first. It is a precious gift to your friends when they personally discover that you cherish confidentiality and hold their secrets close to your heart. Remember, vulnerability hastens bonding.
Realize the risk is worthwhile. As you reflect on the friends of your life, realize some were in your life for only a season. Each of your friends has woven into your being some of the very fiber of who you have become. Realize you may never know why some relationships end: Reflect on the positive blessings and the impact a friendship made on your life during the happy times. If the friendship was filled with betrayal and pain, reflect on the growth that took place in your own life as you learned to deal with this.

Finally, realize that going through a broken relationship leaves you with a choice -- to become bitter or better. Bitterness will only destroy you and never the person with whom you are angry. Which one will you choose?

Confessional with Taz Jonez: Guess what ya'll, I am crazy!!

I been diagnosed by a therapist and it appears that I have been suffering from depression for the last few years? Isn't that fun? I kinda suspected it but now that its official I guess I need to take it more seriously so I can de-crazy myself. Whats even worst is my therapist is trying to say people like myself who suffer depression SHOULD NOT drink alcohol.

Taz not drinking alcohol? Yeah right?

What I did agree to do was to go for a month without drinking anything but an occassional glass of redwine, I gotta have something, (LOL)as well as change up my diet. There is actually a crazy people diet consisting of mostly whole foods that can actually make help crazy people feel better about themselves. Can you believe that?

So wish me luck party people. Hopefully this time next month I will feel better about myself, and stop being so damn self destructive. Its not sexy.

For any readers that might also suffer from unsexy depression, and want to some tips on how to better yourselves, check out this site. I found it helpful!!!

Okay guys you got me, I still have not made it in the music industry...

And guess what, I may not ever make it. And guess what, thats alright...I don't know what might happen. This journey feels right to me though. I am meeting all kinds of people from all around the world and I am having a ball doing it. Who knows what might happen. I might go to LA and meet the next big thing artist on some Unstoppable Nuklehid business, and end up managing them, or I might get a gig as an A&R somewhere. Remember I started this adventure as an intern for Sony. Who knows, I might be an actor. I am not one of those people who HAS to make it as a rapper or my life ends. I just have to be enjoying what I do, and I need the financial freedom to live how I want to live. Keep your cars and diamonds, just give me a condo in LA, Miami, and DC...I ain't asking for too much...Just enjoying life and anticipating what happens next. For the first time in my life I don't feel I have anything to prove to anyone, and am just hanging on for this wild and crazy ride of life and it feels good.
