Yeah, yeah, surprise, suprise...I mean we all knew this was coming. Kanye usually takes whatever opportunity he can to be a fuckin jerk but it's normally on his own time. In an effort not be outdone by the insanity of Lady Gaga and her WTF outfits, Kanye stormed the stage at last nights VMA's and snatched the mic from an unsuspecting Taylor Swift. He then proceeded to kiss Beyonce's ass by declaring her video "the best of the decade". I mean "Single Ladies" was an international phenomenon and probably should have won but that's some shit you tweet about. Let that girl have her moment. Taylor obviously wasn't used to arrogant nigga behavior as her face showed it. She was shocked as all hell or as me and Taz call it, she had "the dick look". Had that have been some ghetto bitch like Fantasia or Keysha Cole, Kanye might have had a fist fight on his hands. Them chicks wouldn't even had said shit...they just would've cut his ass. I know they carry blades. Anyway, I'm glad the MTV security promptly escorted his black ass up and out and that Beyonce gave Taylor a chance to finish her speech, but in the end Kanye got exactly what he wanted. So congrats to you Mr. West, you are the douchebag of the week. I hope your bald head girlfriend cussed you out last night.

And just to let you know, we're back in the studio and hitting the club scene again...So hide your wallets, purses, etc.

On our hiatus we been talking to Jimmy Jam and a few others. After a great conversation in Philly, Michael passed away, and Jimmy was already super busy in the studio with both Usher and Janet, so hopefully we aren't forgotten. Time will tell.

I keep telling ya'll that grammy membership is good.

I also got some business done in Miami last weekend. Seen Femi, do you thing.

I also might have a new writing gig on the way.

50 Cent smashes Jay Z, and Diddy as 2008's most paid rapper!!

And we all thought Kanye West won.

Guess not. I can't even hate on him anymore. He makes some really great business decisions, and he made Young Buck cry, does it get better than that? Last year it was Jay-Z who led the way on Forbes new list for Hip-Hop Cash Kings, but he was dethroned despite landing a huge deal with Live Nation, worth an estimated $150 million.

Hov did land at no. 2 on the 2008 list, but it was 50 Cent (real name: Curtis Jackson) who is crowned the 2008 Hip-Hop Cash King by the magazine, who reportedly earned a whopped $150 million over the past 12 months.

According to Forbes, Fiddy banked $100 million (after taxes) thanks to his stake in VitaminWater's parent, Glacéau, which was bought by Coca-Cola as part of a $4.1 billion deal.

Additionally, the rapper's portfolio also includes a successful clothing line, record label, film roles, video games, and of course record sales from several albums, including his most recent platinum selling Curtis album.

Forbes reports that he's also working on a mining partnership with South African billionaire Partrice Motsepe.

Jay-Z raked in $82 million, coming in at no. 2, thanks to his American Gangster album, his Live Nation deal, and his other business ventures.

Coming in at no. 3 for the second year in a row is Diddy. The music mogul earned a reported $35 million last year from his many businesses and deals -- including his Sean John clothing line, his Bad Boy label, his deal with Ciroc vodka, and two reality shows.

Ironically, 50 Cent grabbed both Diddy and Jay-Z last year when they earned the top three spots for his "I Get Money (Forbes Remix)," and here they are again.

Right behind the Big Three is Kanye West, taking the no. 4 spot with a cool $30 mill. His position comes as his third solo album became one of the best selling last year, beating out 50 Cent's Curtis in a head-to-head battle the pair staged for publicity.

At no. 5 we see Timbaland with $22 mill, thanks to his endless list of producer credits.

HBO please reconsider!!!

Personally, I feel the last thing we need is a Kanye West reality show. I like Kanye...to a point. That point being when I'm finished playing his CD. Once he gets the jabber jawing about how his shit don't stink and he's the greatest at everything I tend to hate him a little bit. I honestly believe the man thinks his piss could cure cancer. With that said HBO has been in the works for almost a year now trying to find the right pitch for a reality show for him. You can only handle this man in small doses. He's kinda like heroin in the human form. Take too much and you may find yourself dead or at least near death. So imagine a world with Kanye on, uncensored TV, for 30 minutes to an hour. I don't think they make a lens big enough to be able to fit that head in. Let's just hope that Kanye will feel that the show is not showing enough of how great he thinks he is and will choose not to go on with it. I personally would rather watch Amy Winehouse shooting god knows what into her veins for 30 minutes to an hour, but what do I know.

HBO remains hell-bent on finding a way to showcase the talents of Kanye West. Long before the writers’ strike began last November, the network began discussing whether to team the rapper with executive producer Larry Charles (Curb Your Enthusiasm) for a yet-to-be-named, single-camera series that would follow the busy life of the Grammy-winning artist and his relationship with family and friends. One key insider says HBO is now looking for a writer — and some creative inspiration — before moving forward with the project: “We need to figure out how to capture Kanye in the right way.” Anything that allows him to gas on about his many talents should do the trick.

US rapper Kanye West has laughed off Amy Winehouse’s scathing comments about him — insisting he must have "really made it" if the troubled singer hates him.

Winehouse lashed out at the hitmaker during her set at British music festival Glastonbury on Saturday June 28 telling the crowd she was pleased to be opening for rapper Jay-Z and not a "c**t like Kanye West!"

She continued: "Let’s hear it for Jay-Z. The man has got bollocks to come here, and play the tunes you don’t even know you remember. Imagine if it was a c**t like Kanye West. "C**ts Like Kanye" — that should be his next album title."
But West has refused to take the insult personally, dismissing Winehouse’s rant on his website.
He writes, "This just in... Amy Winehouse hates me!!! Now I’ve really made it!!! LOL (laugh out loud)!!!!"
During her performance, Winehouse also lunged at a fan.
"Not everyone can say they have been hit by Amy Winehouse," the fan, James Gostelow, told the BBC. "I’m just pleased I got to see her. She did a great act."
Winehouse was also discharged from hospital yesterday in London after doctors declared her well enough to go home.
The Back To Black singer was admitted to a London clinic after collapsing at her home earlier last month.
She was subsequently diagnosed with traces of deadly lung disease emphysema.
She left the clinic this weekend to perform at a London tribute concert to Nelson Mandela on Friday June 27 and at the U.K. music festival Glastonbury on Saturday night returning to the hospital on Sunday.
She was released on Monday and will continue treatment at the centre as an outpatient.
Her spokesperson told British newspaper the Daily Express: "Amy did return to hospital after Glastonbury but her doctors recommended she continue treatment as an outpatient.
"She was allowed to leave for the performances and it was felt that this really went well. As her treatment is coming to a close, it was decided that she should return home."
She added that the star plans on keeping her forthcoming performing commitments, adding, "The next date for her is the Oxegen festival on July 12; she’s really looking forward to that.
"Then there are other dates including Bestival in September. The idea was to book lots of one-off dates that she can enjoy doing this summer. She loves performing."
